My brothers are both gone now and I miss them both so much. Ron and Dean shared my passion for the past and not just of the Schurmeier history. We loved our memories of growing up in St. Paul along with all the cars we drove in our youth. We remembered every car my father drove as well as every car our Uncles drove.
I am so fortunate to have had two of the greatest brothers a man could ask for.

I am the Great Great Grandson of John H. Schurmeier. My father is Angelo D. Ciccone and my mother is Mary Jane Schurmeier.
As I grew up and learned more and more about my family history, I began searching for any kind of survivor from the Schurmeier Wagon Company. Hours and hours searching the Internet lead me to what I would describe as "the find of a life time." There it was, sitting on a trailer looking like the only thing holding it together was a lot of rope and duct tape.
It's been a very long journey restoring this truck. I found parts all over the states, right down to a rivet to reassemble my emergency brake from Missoula, MT. Along the way, I have met so many great people, true friends to this day, Many with special expertise with motors, transmissions, brakes, water pumps, carburetors, to name a few. This truck is very rare and one of a kind, I feel honored to be the one person to restore it to its great glory.
